Dear Sir or Madam,
Please find attached open return tickets for refund as never used due to there not being a train from Watford Junction until mid-afternoon on the 20th of March 2026.
We landed at Heathrow at 6:15 in the morning and needed to get home asap after a 23 hour flight then found out we could get the bus to Watford Junction but there would not be a train until 3:00 pm which meant we would have to hang around for hours which we could not do so I bought a ticket from Heathrow for a tube to Euston and then onto Blackpool via Preston.
Therefore, I am looking for a refund for the attached tickets please.
I believe you sent an email to me however my email address had been hacked so i never received i have since changed my email address on the trainline site so please could you resend the email buckrogers53@***.co.uk and explain to me why the above reasoning for a refund is not acceptable.

Trainline ticket showed a 07:45 departure from Loughborough. I arrived at 07:41, four minutes early based on that time.
However, the actual National Express departure was 07:40, so the coach had already left. Due to this incorrect information, I missed the service and had to purchase a new ticket at my own expense.

- - I can't resolve the issue and may face out-of-pocket costs and rebooking.

Cannot resolve it to change it my mistake but dont know if I can sort it so out of pocket and dont know what to do if I travel I could be fined I suffer mental health and anxiety and now stressing there should be some sort of back up that people can sort it out so Im going to have to book another ticket and lost money

I bought advanced single split tickets from Trainline from Leicester to MCR Airport. The Birmingham-Manchester leg was cancelled before I set off so we drive instead.
I asked Trainline for a refund but theit system said no refunds on advanced single tickets. I challenged them via Pissed Consumer email to a human, citing 8.1 in TS&C's which says refund is available if train cancelled.
They refunded within 24 hours. Not happy with initial response but resolved quickly once I challenged them via PC.

- - I was told the replacement would be 1st Class, but it was decommissioned and crowded; this has happened.
Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with partial refund. I received an apology and a refund for the difference between 1st and 2nd class payment. Contact them, they did resolve the matter in z timely manner.
Booked 1st Class train to Birmingham train cancelled. Advised to catch another train and told it would be 1st Class .
This 1st Class was decommissioned crammed full of people from previous cancellation. Thus is 3rd time in 2 years that this has happened to me.

Hello, I bought a ticket today to visit Birmingham from London. But when I went to the Maryland station to catch the train, the security guard told me I couldn't travel because he asked me for a card that I'm not sure was called a Real Card.
So I was forced to miss my trip.

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with full refund. The train fare was debited from my credit card.
I have now received a refund, so all sorted. If there is a problem, contact the company directly, but if it is not resolved contact you.
Provide a phone number to contact them. All contacts are via a chat line, which was useless. The customer contact number was useless, it just cut off.

- - A neighbour printed the e-tickets so they could be scanned at the barrier.
I got e tickets from Trainline but don't have a mobile phone. They offered to fully refund the tickets (non refundable tickets) and for me to rebook.
They also advised that if I could print off the e tickets on paper, I'd be able to use them and scan QR code at the barrier.
My neighbour kindly did this for me so problem sorted. Trainline went above and beyond to help me.
