I recently travelled to Lancaster with my partner on the 16th of February. We travelled with Avante west train line, however, our driver was continuously behind schedule from Euston to Coventry and from Coventry to lancaster, and we were made to wait hours.
I attempted to complete the delay repay forms online however after hours of manually filling out every ticket and collecting evidence it simply stated to try again later.
I am very stuck and was wondering if you could offer me some assistance as to how to get my refund before the time window shuts on the delay repay. Im sorry for the inconvenience but I was severely late and the tickets for the certain arrival time were expensive.

User's recommendation: It is impossible to go beyond computer system responses. The options offered on Trainlines amend booking system did NOT include the nextvtrain on my original route. Furthermore the options offered were for a different rail network..which Trainline speciifically said was NOT allowed. There is no one to contact. Everything fine until things go wrong…rather like a well know low cost airline !! Iin other cases of delays cancellations, Trainline inebiyably refer you to the tail network,in question…it is always a huge faff. I will be trying out other options to Trainline….iand there are several…and I will switch. Thabk you stephan Kalischef

I received a full refund for the cancelled train. Am very happy with this result.
